Planning Consultant Instruction

We have hired the services of Chris Dance of LPC Trull Limited as planning consultant, and Matthew Grist of Waterman Boreham Limited as Transport and Highways consultant:

Requirement The overall requirement will be for LPC (Trull) Ltd to undertake a detailed analysis of the planning application for a Gypsy site (Ref: PK08/2703/F) and submit a written statement demonstrating why this application should be refused. The work involved will involve the following Tasks:

To cover the scenario whereby an Appeal is raised, should the application be Refused. Such an Appeal would be dealt with by a Public Inquiry which would likely be held late Spring / Summer 2009. In order to maintain the strongest possible case at the Appeal it is absolutely essential that the site is not formally allocated as a Gypsy Site in the South Gloucestershire Development Plan Document (DPD). As discussed the site is presently included as a "potential site" in the Preferred Options and Proposals DPD. My understanding is that consultation on this DPD will be taking place during November 08 - January 09. It is extremely important that strong representations to the inappropriate allocation of this site are also made. The work involved with the DPD will involved the following Tasks:
